The Wild Horse Refuge is a completely unique and pioneering facility that was created in order to guarantee a wild home for Colorado's native Mustangs. Wild horses are allowed to roam freely within the Refuge, which has more than 30,000 acres of land for the horses!

I come by my horse-crazy honestly. I'm the granddaughter of a rodeo cowboy. He passed away when I was a baby and while I never got to know him,  I grew up with stories of his exploits which included rodeos all over the country.
